I decided that I would try to photograph a moonflower as it blooms. It is so cool to watch it and I discovered that they smell really good. The bloom is actually a light green and then starts to turn white as it gets closer to blooming. They're just really neat!

The green has faded; there's just a hint of purple on the edges.

Starting to "un-furl"(not sure if "un-furl" is a word but I'm going to use it)

The sun has set.........

Getting bigger....

Ta-da! WOW!!! The bummer thing about these flowers is that they only last the night and a few hours in the morning and then they wilt and will fall off by the following evening.
