Puppy Sitting

This past week a friend of mine called and asked if I could do him a huge favor. Actually she, herself isn't that huge but we have found out that her ability to get into mischief is ......huge, colossal, gigantic, enormous especially since it all of a sudden decided that winter wasn't done. Yes, we are puppy sitting for a few days; she goes home tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, all has been going well but it was so much easier when it was nicer outside so that Tooley could go out and play. The little bit of a routine/potty training has about gone out the door because little puppies don't like the snow-(not that I blame her), especially since most of it is deeper than she is high.


As you can tell she is black and yes she is a lab, a pointing lab.

Don't let her cute, innocent, baby face fool ya........she is quite the monster; especially if you are a shoe, sock , towel, foot in the sock, pant leg, polly, jolly ball, kong toy, her food and anything else that you can imagine.

She has made herself quite at home and the hearth is her throne. This is where she likes to take her power naps plus its right by her food. She's on a special food right now because she's special; actually she had a bit of an upset tummy from her flight down from Washington plus the change in food so she is on a bland diet, but she is special. Thankfully, the worst of the tummy/bowel troubles were over when she got here.

Don't worry, the stove wasn't hot but since winter decided it was going to attempt a revenge attack, she has moved to the floor in front of the stove because its a lot warmer up there now.
