Snapshots

Some different angels of the beauty of Nevada. after living here for over 20yrs, I'm still amazed at its beauty-its a hidden beauty which is why so many people probably think of Nevada as a 'dead' desert but actually, its very much the opposite!

Feb. 2011 north of Dunphy. My dad and I decided to get out and go explore, look for some wildlife, mainly elk and deer and maybe come across some sheds. The weather was a bit chilly, breezy and overcast at times but it was still a great outing!
We found the deer and the antelope but no elk and no sheds-we'll be back though.

Our truck is way down there in the flats-nothing like a good hike in the fresh air, even in February!!

Some of the mountains to the east

One of the Carlin mines-quite impressive!!

The Sheepcreek Range on the eastern side

January sunset

It was very bright!!!

Full moon arising!!
