The dogs really enjoy time out in the hills too. All of the new sights, smells, bushes and the creek plus any of the left over picnic lunch just makes their day. We took Hank and Lee with us up to Hilltop Canyon a couple weeks ago.

Lee decided that waiting at the bottom of the hill while the kids hiked up was a good idea-we agreed with him and stayed and just watched too.

Nothing like some cool snow for your paws.

This was Hank's first time out and he was great. I'm looking forward to him being able to spend a lot of time with us out camping, hiking, picnicking etc......

However, I may change my mind. Why is that dogs think that cow manure is just sooo.....wonderful that one should wear it? This is one thing that I don't think I will ever understand or would I want to. I'm mean really, what is so wonderful about "remnants from the south end of a north bound animal" that one should be so desperate to roll all over in it?

Yes! He rides in the back of the truck. No, we did not pet him after he was done.
