I love spring!!! I love seeing everything come back to "life" after winters dormant days. I love the warmer weather and especially the moisture that we've been getting-it makes spring so much more enjoyable. Its good to know that despite how "
sporadic" the weather can be in northern Nevada, God is in control of it all.

The current bushes are already full of blooms.

Russian Olives making their frosty green appearance.

I forget the name of this bush but it has these blooms only on the ends of each branch.

The honeysuckle bush has wasted no time in leafing out. The first blossoms are starting to appear now.

The Kentucky Coffee trees the neatest trees to watch as they start to "wake-up". Their leaves/branches unfurl-its really cool. They also seem to grow well here and have really neat
foliage-I highly recommend them .

A lonely flower making its way up under the wild rose bush.

The wild roses are well on their way to getting bushy.

I have come to find out the the Locust trees take their sweet time "waking-up" Bryan and Marisa could relate to this.

The Burr Oak is even slower but once it starts it actually grows quite fast; so far its been averaging almost 2ft a year.
Of course with all of the things that are growing the weeds have made their presence known. The battle begins-I've already sprayed 4 gallons of round up so far. The lawns are doing well and have been mowed twice. I'm really excited about how the pastures are looking too-should be able to save on quite a bit of hay this year.
