Horse Show Sept. 09

Well, once again its been a while since I've updated anything on the blog and there are a lot of things that have been going on so I'm going to try to get caught up but no deadlines.
This year I had the opportunity to attend my first horse show-4 of them actually; one in June, July, Aug. and Sept. These shows were in Elko and are put on by the NENHA club(Northeastern Nevada Horseman's Association). At each show you accumulate points for each event that you enter and , of course, depending on how you place. I showed in 4 classes each show; showmanship, trail, horsemanship and pleasure. With a lot of support from Bryan, family and friends plus a lot of help from the Chapin's we won this years Novice Division in the western performance classes.

Here she is all clipped and cleaned for our last show.

Just took her braid out.

Ready for showmanship-yes she is quite relaxed at shows now.

Jessie given her some TLC before we show

Waiting for our class

Waiting for the "okay" from the judge(yes, I was nervous)

Honky-tonk-badonkadonk! Can you spot the "false" tail?
I think she had the best "one" out there.

All done with that-now to get ready for the rest of show. We got 3rd!

All saddled up and no were to go.
